Creative Book Review Writing Competition

We request you to write a book review of any book of your choice that addresses fiction or
non-fiction or autobiography.
Here are some suggested books by Indian authors, entrants are free to choose any other book that is not mentioned on the list.
- Witness the Night (Kishwar Desai)
- Train to Pakistan (Kushwant Singh)
- Origins of Love (Kishwar Desai)
- The Rise of Sivagami (Anand Neelakantan)
- House of Cards (Sudha Murthy)
- Meluha Trilogy (Amish Tripathi)
- The Inheritance of Loss (Kiran Desai)
- The Lowland (Lahiri)
Note: Participants can also choose foreign author’s work.
Registration:
- Participants can register either from dare2compete site or they can register here.
- Note: Registration at any of the two portals are valid for participation.
Rules:
- The book review can only be authored individually.
- Separate entries for more that one topics can be made by a participant.
- The minimum word limit for an entry is 300 words.
- Use Times New Roman, font size 12, spacing 1.15.
- Make your entry in doc or docx format.
- Plagiarized articles will be rejected. Critical exploration will be appreciated and rewarded.
- Participants are requested to mention the references(if any).
- Along with winners, top review(s) will be published and featured on our website and will be awarded an e-certificate.
